CLINICS

pregnant11Ante-Natal Clinic – every Monday morning 9:00am – 10:30am (Midwife and Doctor present.  Doctors rotate on a weekly basis). 

Diabetic Clinic – weekly by appointment.
(patients sent appointments for clinic). 

Asthma Clinic – Wednesday 1:30pm – 4:50pm by appointment. 

Respiratory Clinic – Weekly by appointment.

Cervical Smear Clinic –Thursday afternoons 13:00 - 14:30  If this is unsuitable then by appointment with Practice Nurse or a Doctor. 

Family Planning( excluding implants or IUCDs)
baby2Treatment or advice can be provided by any of the doctors. 

Minor Surgery 
Dr. Reid, Dr Hayes and Dr Bell provide a minor surgery clinic - appointments are available on request. 

Drug Monitoring
The practice monitors Warfarin and specialised drugs initiated in hospital that require regular blood checks. Details on request.

Vaccinations
Adults are advised to have current tetanus and polio protection every 10 years. Holiday vaccinations can also be organized. It can take several weeks to arrange an appointment in the treatment room so please plan early Ask the receptionist for details.

Smoking Cessation
Smoking cessation advice and help are available through Nurse Canavan who is our smoking cessation advisor. Help can also be accessed through any of the doctors or Nurse Barbara Canavan

Weight Management
The doctors and Nurse Canavan are happy to give advice and support in weight management  

Other Services
A wide range of services can be arranged by your doctor including Physiotherapy, Chiropody, Speech Therapy, Community Psychiatric Nursing, as well as a full nursing support service with Midwifes, District Nurses and Health Visitors.
